2 more die of dengue, 1,179 hospitalised in a day

At least two dengue patients died, and 1,179 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today.

The deaths were reported from areas under Dhaka South City Corporation, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of dengue-related deaths and cases rose to 315 and 79,722 respectively.

Currently, 3,398 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
