Bangladesh gifts emergency Covid medicines to Indonesia

Bangladesh has gifted emergency Covid medicines to Indonesia, which has become Asia's new coronavirus epicenter reporting more than 3.57 million cases and more than 102,000 deaths as of yesterday.

On behalf of the Government of Bangladesh, Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Bangladesh ambassador to Indonesia, today formally handed over the Covid medicine to Dr Wiendra Waworuntu, director of Public Medicines and Health Supplies Management, Ministry of Health Affairs, Indonesia.

"This is a symbol of goodwill gesture for the people of Indonesia, a friendly country of Bangladesh," the ambassador told this correspondent.
