Covid-19: 7 new cases, no deaths in 24hrs

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00am today, said a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The current positivity rate is 0.47 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.44 percent, said the release.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,439 and the mortality rate is 1.45 percent.

At least seven new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in this 24-hour period. The total number of cases meanwhile rose to 20,37,031.

A total of 1,486 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 54 patients recovered from Covid-19 during this period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 19,87,351. The recovery rate is currently 97.56 percent, added the release.
