40 die of Covid-19 in Khulna division in a single day

Forty patients suffering from Covid-19 died in the districts of Khulna division in 24 hours till 8:00am today.

Of the deceased, 10 died while undergoing treatment at four hospitals in Khulna city, our Khulna correspondent reports.

In Khulna city, three died at Khulna Medical College Hospital, one died at Shaheed Sheikh Abu Naser Specialised Hospital, four died at Gazi Medical College Hospital and two died at Khulna City Medical College Hospital in the same time.

During this time, 12 died in Kushtia, eight in Meherpur, four in Magura, three each in Jashore and Jhenaidah, according to data of Khulna Division Health Department.
