Amid a deepening power crisis in the country, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission may hike the bulk electricity price tomorrow.

State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid urged the officials of his ministry to ensure more coordination in implementing projects on development of infrastructures in the power sector.

The new price of electricity at the wholesale level will be announced on Thursday, said Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) Member (Power) Mohammad Bazlur Rahman today (October 11, 2022).
