Will Smith expresses interest in Bollywood
Hollywood star Will Smith has shared his long-standing desire to work in a Bollywood film, revealing that he hopes Shah Rukh Khan will cast him in a project someday.
Speaking during a recent appearance at an event in Dubai, Smith said he has had conversations over the years with some of Hindi cinema’s biggest names, including Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, about possible collaborations. However, he admitted that none of those discussions ultimately materialised into a film.
“I was talking to Salman Khan. We had things we were discussing. I was also trying to get into something with Big B,” Smith said, adding that while ideas were explored at different points, “nothing panned out.”
Despite that, the actor made it clear that his interest in Bollywood remains strong. With a smile, Smith said he would love to see Shah Rukh Khan cast him in a movie, jokingly calling out to the superstar to make it happen.
Smith was last seen on the big screen in “Bad Boys: Ride or Die”, the fourth instalment of the popular action franchise, which was released in June 2024. His comments have since sparked excitement among fans online, with many imagining what a Hollywood–Bollywood crossover featuring Smith might look like.
