Ziaul Faruq Apurba is all set to showcase another side of his artistic talent as he prepares for a solo concert in the United States.

While Apurba is best known for his work in television dramas and OTT productions, he has long nurtured a passion for music. Friends and colleagues often describe him as the life of any gathering, effortlessly entertaining audiences with his guitar and singing. Over the years, he has also performed on stage and lent his voice to songs featured in television dramas and telefilms.

Now, the actor is ready to take centre stage as a singer. Titled "Apurba’s Musical Night", the concert will be held in New York City on July 25, marking a special musical outing for the star's fans in the United States.

Rumours about a possible Apurba concert had been circulating since the beginning of the month. The mystery was finally resolved yesterday when Apurba confirmed the concert through social media.

According to organisers, the evening will feature nearly two hours of live music, with Apurba performing a selection of songs for audiences in New York. Details regarding the venue and ticket prices are expected to be announced soon.

Apurba has been spending much of his time in the United States in recent years. Since marrying US-based Shamma Dewan Trisha in 2021, he has divided his time between Bangladesh and the United States, where his wife and daughter reside permanently.

Despite his extended stays abroad, Apurba continues to remain active in the entertainment industry. Most recently, he was seen in Saleh Sobhan Auneem's web series "Headline", where his portrayal of journalist Zahir received widespread praise from viewers and critics alike.

Released in June, "Headline" marked Apurba's return to the OTT space after a two-year hiatus. Prior to that, he appeared in the 2024 web series "Golam Mamun".
