What to watch on OTT this Eid

Eid entertainment is no longer confined to cinema halls, as OTT platforms are offering a wide range of content for viewers this festive season. From thrillers to romantic dramas, this year’s lineup caters to diverse tastes.

On Chorki, director Shihab Shaheen’s original series “Cactus” presents the journey of an ordinary young man becoming a hacker. The spy-thriller stars Pritom Hasan and Mehazabien Chowdhury and is already available for streaming.

Hoichoi brings “Ekshathe Alada”, directed by Rezaur Rahman, which explores emotional distance within a relationship. The film features Yash Rohan and Parsa Evana and has already been released on the platform.

On iScreen, Vicky Zahed’s psychological thriller “Chokro 2” delves into a world of mystery and crime. The eight-episode series stars Tawsif Mahbub and Azmeri Haque Badhan. The platform is also releasing another series, “Six”, directed by Tanim Parvez, featuring Sadia Islam Mou and Ifthekhar Fahmi.

Meanwhile, Bongo will release “Love Sitter” on the third day of Eid. Directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and Mushfiqa Masud, the fiction stars Ziaul Haque Palash and Sadia Ayman. The platform will also release “Jackpot” and “Lily” during the festive period.
