‘Taandob’ among key screenings at Amar Bhashar Cholochitro Utshob

Amar Bhashar Cholochitro Utshob 1432 kicked off yesterday at the University of Dhaka. Organised by the Dhaka University Film Society, this year marks the 24th edition of the festival.

The second day of the festival is today (4 February). The day’s screenings began at 10:00 am at the auditorium of the Dhaka University Student–Teacher Centre (TSC) with Sunil Bandopadhyay’s film "Deya Neya". This was followed at 12:30 pm by the much-discussed film "Surjo Konna", directed by Alamgir Kabir and starring the recently deceased Jayasree Kabir.

At 3:30 pm, last year’s talked-about film "Chokkor 302", directed by Saraf Ahmed Zibon and starring Mosharraf Karim, is scheduled for screening. As the final screening of the second day, audiences will watch last year’s most talked-about film, "Taandob".

‘Roid’ joins hands with ‘Delhi Crime’ production house

In "Taandob", directed by Raihan Rafi, the lead role is played by Shakib Khan. The cast also includes Jaya Ahsan and Sabila Nur.
Tickets are priced at Tk 50 for each screening. The festival will continue until February 8.
