"Poramon" and "Dohon"  famed on-screen couple Siam Ahmed and Puja Chery are set to pair up for the third time, for the upcoming action film "Shaan". Directed by M Raahim, the much awaited production is slated to release theatrically soon, under the banner of Jazz Multimedia.

Celebrated actresses Champa and Aruna Biswas will be seen together on the silver screen in this film, after 22 years.

"I wish the very best for 'Shaan'," shares an excited Aruna Biswas. "Only the audience will make my effort fruitful, by turning up at the halls."

"I have found a very good team and I hope this film sees success," adds Champa.

"Shaan" also features Taskeen Rahman, Don, Syed Hasan Imam, Nader Chowdhury, Misha Sawdagor, and Arman Parvez Murad, among others.

Azad Khan has penned the script while the dialogue and screenplay has been handled by Nazim Ud Dowla.

The film also features a song titled "Tomar Moto Amake Maniye Nebo", voiced by Kona and Imran.

The first look of "Shaan" was revealed about 2 years ago, but its release was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Post lockdown, the trailer of the film was recently launched at TSC.

A new poster of the film, featuring only Siam, was unveiled on December 6, which stirred excitement among fans. The poster presented the actor in a completely new look for the film.

"This is a high-budget film, and I have worked very dedicatedly for this project," shares Siam. "The whole team had to put up a lot of effort, as the audience's expectations from this production led us all to raise our bars."

This is the first time Siam has worked in a complete action film.

"Cinema, to me, is all about the big screen and my audiences. I urge all my fans to please visit the halls and I assure you that "Shaan" won't let you down," he adds.

Puja Chery also shared her expectations from "Shaan". "The film has managed to create much hype among viewers, and I am glad that people are talking positively about it," she says. "I wish we live up to their expectation and make a place in their hearts with this film."
