BTV to air special band music show for Eid celebrations

Bangladesh Television is set to present a special band music programme this Eid, aiming to bring festive energy to viewers through performances by several popular Bangladeshi bands.

The show will be divided into two segments. One segment, titled “Pothchola”, will feature a solo performance by the iconic rock band Warfaze. The band is scheduled to perform eight of its widely loved songs. This part of the programme is produced by Shahriar Mohammad Hasan.

The second segment, titled “Rock Carnival”, will bring together several well-known bands including Ark, Shubhojatra, Obscure and Torun. Each band will perform two songs during the show. The segment is produced by Golam Morshed.

The programme will be broadcast as part of BTV’s Eid special lineup. With energetic performances from popular bands, organisers hope the show will add excitement and musical vibrancy to Eid celebrations for audiences across the country.
