Renowned director Sohanur Rahman Sohan, famous for his groundbreaking film “Keyamot Theke Keyamot”, has passed away at the capital’s Crescent hospital at the age of 57. The news was confirmed by producer Khorshed Alam Khasru.

Notably, Pori Moni-starrer two films have hit the theatres this year-- "Maa" and "Adventure of Sundarbans". In "Maa", she portrayed the role of a mother, and the film earned accolades as it made its way to the Cannes Film Festival.
