One of the country’s leading publishing houses, Panjeree Publications, has marked 25 years, celebrating a remarkable journey in Bangladesh’s publishing landscape.

Over the years, Panjeree has consistently released new titles across genres, earning both critical acclaim and the enduring affection of readers. With an extensive catalogue to its name, the publishing house has played a significant role in shaping contemporary reading culture in the country.

Publisher Kamrul Hasan Shayok said the company was born out of a vision to bring positive change and development to Bangladesh’s publishing sector. “Celebrating 25 years as a limited company is a matter of great pride and joy for us,” he said.

He expressed deep gratitude to the country’s leading intellectuals, writers, journalists, teachers, readers and students who have supported Panjeree with their talent, dedication and thoughtful collaboration. “We are especially thankful to our readers. Every book we publish is shaped with them in mind, and we intend to continue this commitment in the years ahead,” he added.

Reflecting on the journey, Shayek noted that Panjeree was founded on a shared dream. “Had we failed to inspire others to believe in and work towards that dream, perhaps Panjeree would never have come into being,” he said.

Panjeree Publications began its journey on November 19, 1993 and was formally incorporated as a limited company in 2000, marking 25 years of corporate existence this year.
