American pop star Ariana Grande has extended support to children and families affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza through an emergency grant provided via her newly launched charitable foundation, "Brighter Days Ahead".

International humanitarian organisation Save the Children UK recently expressed its gratitude to the singer for the contribution, the amount of which has not been disclosed. The charity said the funding will help deliver urgent assistance to families facing severe hardship, displacement, and insecurity in Gaza.

The donation marks one of the first major initiatives undertaken by Grande's foundation, which was established to support vulnerable communities around the world.

Announcing the launch of "Brighter Days Ahead", Grande shared the organisation's mission to provide protection, support, and essential resources to people in need.

“Our mission is to support, protect, and provide essential resources to vulnerable people in need,” Grande said. “Through four dedicated funds, we will be backing a number of remarkable organisations that offer the safety, care, and support that so many urgently require today.”

Save the Children UK highlighted the immediate impact of the grant, stating that the funds will be directed straight to children and families in Gaza to help them navigate the ongoing humanitarian emergency.

“The funds will be directed straight to children and families in Gaza, helping them cope with the extraordinarily difficult circumstances they are facing,” the charity said in a statement.

The organisation also underscored the scale of its humanitarian work in the region. With support from donations such as Grande's, Save the Children has provided direct cash assistance to 183,459 children. The charity has also delivered health and nutrition services to 83,000 children and enrolled 11,357 children in community-based emergency education programmes.

The contribution reflects Grande's growing involvement in philanthropy and humanitarian causes, with "Brighter Days Ahead" aiming to support organisations that provide critical care and resources to those facing crisis situations worldwide.
