Man stabbed to death at college campus in Bogura

A former student of the Bogura Govt Azizul Haque College was stabbed dead at the college campus around 9:00pm tonight.

The deceased was identified as Bishu Mia (32) from Shibganj upazila in Bogura, reports our Bogura correspondent quoting police.

Mithun Sarker, sub-inspector of the Bogura Sadar Police Station told The Daily Star that Bishu was staying in a mess near the college campus area. Around 9:00pm tonight he was going to his mess through the college campus when miscreants stabbed him to death.

Ali Haidar, Additional Superintendent of police told The Daily Star that, "Miscreants stabbed him on his chest. They did not take anything from him. We are trying to figure out the reason behind the attack," he said.
