10 arrested while trying to enter India through Jhenaidah border

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members arrested 10 persons including women and children in Jhenaidah today as they were entering India illegally through Maheshpur border.

They were detained from the premises of Betbaria Government Primary School in Maheshpur today, our local correspondent reports.

A case was filed under the passport act against them.

Jhenaidah Maheshpur BGB-58 battalion Assistant Director Md Nazrul Islam confirmed the arrests and said two males, four females and four children are among the arrestees.
