Couple found dead at home in Chuadanga

A couple was found dead at their house in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga yesterday.

The deceased were identified as Yar Ali and his wife Rojina Khatun, residents of Gobindapur village in the upazila.

Quoting locals, Damurhuda Police Station Officer-In-Charge Abdul Khalek said Yar Ali and Rojina were seen last on Saturday evening.

Kabir, a neighbour of the couple, saw their bodies in a room around 7:00pm from a window of the house, the OC said.

Later on information, police recovered the bodies yesterday evening.

According to police, unknown criminals might have killed them on Saturday night.

Police are investigating the incident, he added.
