Youth held with 7000 Yaba

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 7000 pieces of Yaba tablet from the district town on Tuesday. The arrestee is Dalim Hossain, 34, son of Sohrab Hossain of Chanchra village in the upazila. Major Raisul of Rab-6 in Jessore said, a team of the law enforcers, acting on a tip-off, intercepted a Jessore-bound pick-up van in front of Bahadur School in the town and arrested Dalim along with the Yaba tablets. A case was filed with Sadar Police Station in this connection.
