Woman held with pistol

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a woman along with a pistol in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat district yesterday afternoon. The arrestee is Rasheda Begum, wife of Rashed Khan of Uttar Gopalpur village. On secret information, the border guards raided the house of Rasheda in the area and arrested her along with the firearm. A case was filed in this connection, said Major Md Rumi of BGB-3 Battalion.
