Two deer rescued

Fishermen rescued two deer from the Meghna in Dhalchar area under Charfashion upazila of the district on Monday morning. Nurunnabi Matbar, a fish trader of Dhalchar Fish Landing Station, said fishermen Momin Hawlader and Ruhul Amin found the deer floating in the river at around 7:00am and rescued them. Being informed, forest officials reached the spot, took the deer to Dhalchar forest office and later released them in Char Kukri-Mukri reserve forest.
