Three Jamaat men held

Law enforcers arrested three leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami in Poyari area under Muktagachha upazila of the district early yesterday.

The arrestees are Maulana Mozammel Haque, assistant secretary of the district unit of Jamaat, its upazila unit president Maulana Badrul Alam and activist Mehedi Hasan.

They were arrested on charge of planning subversive activities, said police.
