Three Jamaat men held

Police arrested three men of Jamaat-e-Islami in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat district early yesterday. The arrestees are Amirul Islam Belali, son of late Mojibur Rahman of Kolaroa upazila in Satkhira district, Abdur Rahman Gazi, son of Aziz Sarker of Kazipur of Sirajganj, and Imran Hossain, son of Abu Taher of Panchbibi in Joypurhat. On secret information, a police team raided the house of Imran at Satana village in Panchbibi and arrested the trio while they were holding a secret meeting there, said Ashraful Islam, officer-in-charge of Panchbibi Police Station.
