Three drug peddlers arrested

Police arrested three drug peddlers with 81 bottles of phensidyle in Bhandaria upazila of the district yesterday afternoon.

They also seized a motorbike from their possession, said Md Kamruzzaman Talukder, officer-in-charge of Bhandaria Police Station.

The arrestees are Tania, 30, wife of Nurul Islam of Jhikorgachha upazila, Sahanara, 27, wife of Shukur Ali of Sharsha upazila, and motorcyclist Nasiruddin, 35, son of Abdus Sattar of Kotwali upazila.

Police arrested the three when they riding a motorbike were going to Bhandaria Government College area to deliver the phensidyle.
