PCJSS man shot dead, another abducted in Bandarban

A member of Parbatya Chattogram Jana Sanghati Samity (PCJSS-MN Larma) was shot dead and another was abducted in Bandarban Sadar upazila last night.  

The deceased was identified as Binoy Tongchangya, 35, of Taingkali para from Rajbila union of the same upazila, our Bandarban correspondent reports quoting Md Yeasir Arafat, additional police super of Bandarban Sadar circle.

Police and witnesses said an armed group attacked the house where Binoy was staying and shot him around 9:45pm.

Earlier around 9:00pm, the same armed group abducted one Puladon Tongchangya, 40, a member of PCJSS the same union around 9:00pm, the police official said.

Uchow Mong Marma, president of PCJSS (MN Larma) Bandarban district unit, demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
