Man held for sexually harassing girl in Satkhira

Police today arrested a man on charge of sexually harassing a girl in Satkhira's Kaliganj upazila.

The arrestee was identified as Sohel Gazi (20), general secretary of Varashimla union unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), said Officer-in-Charge of Kaliganj Police Station Delowar.

Locals held Sohel from the victim's house while he was sexually harassing the victim today and handed him over to police, the official said.

He was shown arrested after a case was filed against him by the victim's father with the police station under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
