Lowest 7.1° C temperature recorded in Tetulia
The country's lowest temperature, 7.1 degrees Celsius, was recorded at Tetulia of Panchagarh today, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The earlier minimum temperature, 7.5 °C, was also recorded at Tetulia on Monday while 6.6 °C was recorded at Rajarhat of Kurigram on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Dhaka's minimum temperature was recorded 12.8 degrees Celsius today, said Met office bulleting commencing around 9am today.
According to the Met office, the weather may remain dry over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.
A mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Gopalganj, Cumilla, Tetulia, Rajarhat, Chuadanga and it may continue, it said.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
