Kid drowns in pond

A child drowned in a pond in Bramongaon area under Rajnagar upazila on Sunday.

The deceased is Al-Amin, 5, son of Nuru Miah of the village.

Al-Amin fell into the pond near their house while he was playing on its bank, said Md Sattar Miah, chairman of Munchibazar Union Parishad.
