Hakim-Imdadul panel wins ISPAB polls
MA Hakim and Imdadul Haque led panel today were elected as president and general secretary in the biennial election of Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh respectively.
The due have been running the association for the last few years and elected third consecutive times, will lead the association for the 2019-21 tenure.
All the nine contenders also of the ‘team united’ own the election for general category while Imdadul, director of Optimax Communication Ltd, got the highest vote 101 and Hakim, chief executive officer of Amber IT Ltd, secure 95 vote in general category.
In the election, there were 114 voters in the general category and 17 contested against nine posts while four were elected in associated category.
Other winners in the general category are Ahmed Junayed (91), Moin Uddin Ahmed (86), Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan (84), FM Rahsed Amin (81), Md Sarwar Alam Sikder (78), Md Anwarul Azim (77) and Md Kamal Hossain (76).
Besides in the associated category, Raisul Islam Tuhin (182), Md Asaduzzaman Sujan (181), Nasir Uddin (174) and Wohidul Bhuiyan (155) also won the race.
