Four get life for murder

A Bogra court on Tuesday sentenced four youths to life imprisonment for killing a college student in the town in 2001.

The convicts are Helal Hossian, of Phulbari Madhyapara, Mizanur Rahman, Md Gulshan, and Golam Masum Liton, of Phulbari Southpara in the town.

Additional District and Sessions judge Md Hafizur Rahman handed down the verdict.

According to the case statement, Mahamudul Hasan Bidyut, 18, of Phulbari Madhyapara, was hacked to death by the four as a sequel to previous enmity on October 5, 2001.
