Brazil donates 3,000 Covid-19 test kits to Bangladesh

Brazil has provided about 3,000 Covid-19 test kits through the Brazilian Cooperation Agency to Bangladesh as a gesture of solidarity and collaboration between the two countries.

Brazil's Ambassador to Bangladesh, Joao Tabajara de Oliveira Junior, handed over the M nCoV Real-Time Detection kit to Ferdousi Shahriar, director general (Americas Wing) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at a ceremony at the State Guesthouse Padma this evening, a statement from Brazil embassy said.

The Brazilian ambassador thanked the World Food Program Bangladesh's Country Representative Richard Ragan, who was present at the ceremony, for valuable assistance in procurement of the kits and the support in all the logistics involved in this operation.
