BNP office vandalised

Criminals vandalised Mathbaria upazila BNP office in the district on Friday night.

They damaged furniture and the portraits of Khaleda Zia and Ziaur Rahman.

Md Ruhul Amin Dulal, secretary of Mathbaria upazila unit of BNP, said a gang entered the office, breaking open the door around 10:00pm and carried out the vandalism.

He blamed the local ruling party men for the attack.

On information, Khandakar Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Mathbaria Police Station, visited the spot.
