Actions if any passenger faces harassment at airport: CAAB chairman

Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman today said that immediate actions will be taken if any passenger faces harassment or sufferings at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The CAAB boss came up with the assurance at a mass hearing programme on improving the standard of service to passengers at HSIA.

Top officials of HSIA and different airlines were present at the programme to give a prompt reply to the complaint.

Getting luggage in delay, baggage lost, pilferage valuable items from the luggage are common allegations by the passengers at the HSIA.

Pointing to those issues, the CAAB chairman requested victim passengers to get assistance from executive magistrate or members of law enforcement agencies at the airport.
