35 maunds of jatka seized

Police arrested a young man with 35 maunds of jatka (hilsa fish less than 10 inches long) from a truck near Meghna Ludhua wharf in Kamalnagar upazila under the district on Sunday noon. Rafiqul Islam, sub-inspector of Kamalnagar Police Station, said on secret information, a police team conducted a drive in area and arrested the youth with the jatka.
