239 tortoises seized

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 239 tortoises worth about Tk 20 lakh at Baropota under Benapole Port Police Station of Jessore district on Monday.

Lt Col Abdur Rahim, commanding officer of BGB-23 Battalion, said on secret information, the BGB men raided the border area and seized the tortoises.
