2 siblings drown in pond

Two brothers drowned in a pond at Chathatipara village in Tongibari upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased are Limon, 5, and Emon, 3, sons of Milon Bepari, an expatriate in South Korea.

Family members said the two were playing on the bank of the pond near their house at noon. Suddenly, they slipped into the pond and drowned.
