2 Jamaat men arrested

Detectives in separate drives arrested two Jamaat leaders in Daulatpur and Saturia upazilas of the district on Sunday afternoon on charges of subversive activities. The arrestees are Maulana Tajul Islam, ameer of Daulatpur upazila unit of Jamaat, and Shawkat Ali, secretary of the party's Saturia upazila unit. The two were arrested on charges of subversive activities, said police.
