15 Jamaat-Shibir men arrested

A team of joint forces in separate drives arrested at least 56 people, including 15 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir in eight upazilas of the district in the last two days on various charges. Among the arrestees, 18 are from Sadar, three from Kalaroa, two from Tala, 10 from Kaliganj, nine from Ashashuni, seven from Debhata, four from Patkelghata, and three from Shyamnagar upazila. Of them, Jamaat-Shibir men were arrested on sabotage charges, police said.
