12-yr-old child killed brutally in Bogura

A child was killed as his co-worker allegedly pumped air into his body through rectum in Kahaloo upazila of Bogura today.

Deceased Md Alal, 12, son of Motahar Ali, a resident of Dhakonta village in the upazila, our local correspondent reports quoting police.

The incident took place at Afrin Jute Mill located in Muroil Bazar area around 10:30am, according to the correspondent.

The co-worker who is a 17-year-old boy was arrested by the law enforcers, said Zia Latiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Kahaloo Police Station.

The victim was taken to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital around 12:00pm where he died later, the OC said.

The body was kept at the hospital’s morgue for autopsy.
