Elephant found dead at Bandarban

Just one day after the death of an elephant by electrocution in Teknaf, another Asian elephant was found dead at a streambed in Fasiakhali union of Lama upazila under Bandarban district today.

On information from locals, a team of the forest department has been sent to examine the cause behind the death of the elephant that was lying at the streambed at Khal Khuilla, according to SM Kaisar, divisional forest officer of Lama.

On Friday, an elephant died at Hnila union of Teknaf upazila by electrocution.
