Youth jailed for stalking college girl in Gazipur

A mobile court yesterday sentenced a young man to one year's imprisonment for stalking a college girl in Kaliganj upazila of Gazipur.
The convict Nazmul Hassan, 20, of Mokterpur area, had been stalking the girl, a student of Kaliganj Sromik University College, for eight months, said Mustafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station.
Police arrested him in Dolon Bazar area after the girl's parents informed them, he added.
