Woman's dismembered body found in capital

Police recovered seven dismembered body parts of an unidentified young woman in Culvert Road area of Motijheel in the capital yesterday afternoon.

On information, police recovered the dismembered body parts scattered in the area.

Police said the head was found on the rooftop of a five-storey building while other parts on the roofs of two tin-shed houses and an alley.

Police sent the body parts to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Police said the woman wearing salwar-kameej is aged around 20 to 22 years.

Locals could not tell police anything about the incident but police suspect that the body parts were scattered there after killing her somewhere else.
