Wall collapse in Chattogram kills one

A man was killed when an under-construction wall fell on him at Agrabad area of the port city this afternoon.

The deceased Sahid Ullah (50), was a driver of Power Development Board, Agrabad office, reports our Chattogram correspondent quoting Md Hamid, assistant sub-inspector of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost.

The incident took place at Debarpar area at around 2.00 pm, he said.

Quoting witnesses, Hamid said the victim was heading home when the wall collapsed, leaving him seriously injured.

He was pronounced dead soon after his admission to CMCH, he added.
