Two gets life term for killing girl

A Sylhet court yesterday sentenced two men to life term imprisonment yesterday for killing a teenage girl.
The convicts are Mustak Ahmed, 31, and Ismail Ali, 32, of Keor village of the district. The court also fined them Tk 50,000 in default of which they are to suffer six more months in prison.
Sopna Begum, 16, of the village, was strangled by Mustak for rejecting his unwanted advances. Locals caught Mustak and his friend Ismail while they were fleeing. Later, victim's father filed a case.
