Tourism reporters get own council

Syed Ishtiaq Reza, Channel-71 news director and Mizanur Rahman, staff reporter of Alokito Bangladesh, were elected president and general secretary respectively of Media Council for Tourism Bangladesh (MCTB) yesterday.

The 31-member committee includes vice-presidents Rafiqul Islam Sabuj (Sakaler Khobor), Hasan Jahid Tusher (The Daily Star), and Nizamul Haque Bipul (Bangladesh Protidin); joint-general secretary Ezazul Huq Mukul (Jaijai Din) and Gazi Munsur Aziz (Alokito

Bangladesh). An advisory council was also formed with Tourism International Editor Hakim Ali as its chairman, says a press release.
