Titas disconnect 150 illegal gas lines

Titas Gas yesterday disconnected 150 illegal gas connections to houses at Faridpur Poschimpara of Sreepur in Gazipur.

Around 3km illegal distribution lines, installed to supply gas, have also been removed during the drive conducted by Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, Bhaluka office.

A syndicate in exchange of money illegally gives the connections from high-powered gas transmission lines of industries in the area, said a Titas Gas official.
