Testimony recording deferred again

The Sylhet Speedy Trial Tribunal yesterday, for the sixth time, deferred the date to November 25 and 26 for recording testimonies of witnesses in the former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria murder case as no witness and accused attended the fifth day of hearing due to hartal.

Earlier, the recording of witnesses' testimonies was deferred five times on October 28 and 29, and November 4, 12 and 18.

The then opposition lawmaker and Awami League leader Kibria and four others were killed in a grenade attack on a rally in Habiganj on January 27, 2005.
