Shirin Sharmin addresses C’wealth Parliamentary Association conference

Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury yesterday said lawmakers of the Commonwealth countries would have to work actively together for ensuring sustainable development, rule of law and democracy.

She was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 46th African Regional Conference of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) at Nairobi, Kenya, said a release of Bangladesh Parliament.

Shirin is the president of CPA.
