SC upholds HC bail to Falu

The Supreme Court yesterday upheld a High Court order that granted bail to BNP leader Mosaddak Ali Falu in a case dismissing an appeal filed by the government challenging the order.

Falu cannot get released from jail as he is facing two other cases, said his counsel M Masud Rana.

On January 28, police filed the case against him on the charge of vandalising vehicles and preventing law enforces from discharging duties.

The HC on April 12 granted his interim bail.
