Protest to continue exams: National University students detained from Shahbagh

Shahbagh police this morning detained some of the students of National University who were gathering in the area to stage protest over the postponement of their ongoing exams.

A group of students of National University started gathering at Shahbagh around 10:30am, when police detained some students, reports our Dhaka University correspondent quoting witnesses.

"Around five students were taken to police station for interrogation," Mohammad Rois Uddin, sub-inspector of Shahabagh Police Station said adding that they will be released after interrogation.
