Project launched to ensure access to justice in CHT

The Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Facility (CHTDF) of UNDP in partnership with the Embassy of Denmark has launched a new project to ensure accessible justice.

The "making formal and informal justice systems accessible for the CHT people" project will continue until September 2016, said a press release yesterday.

Target areas include streamlining functions and building linkages between CHT institutions, supporting government and NGOs' legal aid and gender based violence prevention.
